The Luminox Blackbird 9052 Series Reviews

The Luminox Blackbird 9000s are really awesome watch, look tough and military looking watches. Most of  these series are all stainless steel with a black PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating which gives them a very cool, stealthy look.

Luminox Men's Watch 9050 SR-71 Blackbird Series - Limited Edition 9052 - WWThe one I like best is the Luminox 9050 (Limited Edition 9052). Although is limited to 999 units worldwide, personally I like the compass function with 3 time zones and  a simple neat design. It also contain timer, alarm, and week counter.

Features of the Luminox Blackbird 9052 include:
  • Case Material-Black steel PVD plated case with soundbox caseback
  • Case Diameter-44 mm
  • Bezel-Black steel PVD plated, fixed bezel
  • Case back-Black PVD coated steel case back
  • Crystal-Antireflective coated, sapphire glass
  • Crown-Black steel PVD plated, screw down crown
  • Water Resistance-100 meters
  • Movement-ISA compass movement with 3 time zones, timer, alarm, and week counter
  • Battery Life-45 months
  • Bracelet-23 mm black steel PVD plated bracelet with black PVD plated signature buckle and security clasp.

The Luminox Blackbird series 9052 is a high-end Luminox, and retails for about $1,935 - $2000. If you think that's too much money to spent, Luminox sells dozens of other very affordable watches with the same illumination system.
